Syftr Terms of Service

What Syftr is

Syftr works with public posts from supported apps: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Reddit, LinkedIn, Threads, Facebook, and Pinterest. You share a public post link from one of those apps and Syftr saves it to your private library as structured notes. We fetch that post, transcribe speech when there is audio, read on-screen text, and organize what it contains: recipes, workouts, places, tools, GitHub repositories, and other notes. We only process public links you share. We do not ask you to log into those apps through Syftr. We do not have a public social feed. Other people cannot see your library unless you share a card with them.

Agreement and 13+

By downloading, signing into, or using Syftr, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Syftr is for adults. You must be at least 13. It is not a Kids Category app. If you are 13–17, use the app only with a parent or guardian’s permission where the law requires it.

What the service does and does not do

Syftr:

• Lets you sign in with Apple, Google, or an email code and keep a private library on our servers
• Fetches the public post link you share from a supported app, then transcribes audio, reads on-screen text, and saves structured notes
• Lets you Reanalyze a save, pick a listed GitHub candidate when a post points to a repository, share a card with another Syftr account, or delete a card
• Lets you sign out or delete your account

Syftr does not:

• Have a public feed, followers, or a way for other people to browse your library
• Ask you to log into Instagram, TikTok, X, or any other app through Syftr
• Guarantee that every post can be fetched, transcribed, or structured perfectly
• Give you a license to the original creator’s content
• Replace the source platform, Apple, or the law

Free analyses and Syftr+

Every account includes 20 free analyses. One successful analysis uses one; a Reanalyze that succeeds uses another. Failed or cancelled analyses do not count. Deleting a card does not give an analysis back.

Syftr+ is a paid subscription that removes the free analysis limit. It is offered as an auto-renewing monthly plan ($9.99 per month) or yearly plan ($69.99 per year), in US dollars. The yearly plan includes a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers; if you don’t cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, you are charged $69.99 and the plan renews yearly. Prices in other countries and currencies are shown in the App Store before you buy, and the App Store price is the one you pay. We may also grant a lifetime Syftr+ plan to some accounts at our discretion; it is not charged and does not expire.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. Billing, refunds, and payment methods are handled by Apple under the App Store terms. We cannot issue refunds directly.
• Your subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Syftr+ until the end of the period you paid for.
• Deleting your Syftr account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel it in iOS Settings first.
• Use Restore purchases in the app to bring Syftr+ to a new device signed in to the same Syftr account.

We may change prices or plans. A price change for an existing subscription follows Apple’s notice and consent rules.

Accounts

You sign in with Apple, with Google, or with a one-time code sent to your email. We do not issue a Syftr password. Keep your sign-in account and email under your control.

Sign out only clears the session on that device. The library stays on the server until you delete the account.

In Syftr → Settings → Delete account:

• “Delete in 30 days”: we set a deletion date 30 days out. Signing in again before that date with Apple, Google, or your email code cancels it and keeps the library.
• “Delete now”: we immediately delete the account and the library. This is irreversible.

If you cannot open the app, email Contact@zakov.ai from the email on the account and ask us to delete it. More detail is in the Syftr Privacy Policy.

Your content / other people’s posts

You choose every link you share. You are responsible for only sharing links you are allowed to save for personal use. The original post still belongs to its creator. Syftr stores a copy in your private library so you can read the notes later. We do not grant you a license to republish, sell, or commercially exploit that original work.

The notes we generate (summary, structured fields, transcript) are produced for your library. You can delete a card or the whole account. Deleting Syftr’s copy does not delete the original post on the source platform. If you share a card with another account and they save it, their copy stays in their library.

Sharing between accounts

Sharing in Syftr is user to user. There is no public feed. You can send a finished card to another existing Syftr account by entering that person’s sign-in email. They see your sign-in email as the sender. They can Accept or Decline. You can Revoke a share at any time, but a copy they already saved to their own Vault stays theirs. Only share with people who want it. If you get a share you do not want, Decline it. To report abuse, email Contact@zakov.ai.

AI processing

Syftr uses AI models from OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), and Google Gemini to transcribe and read the posts you save. Saving or Reanalyzing a link sends that post’s media and text to them. We do not train our own AI model on your data, and we do not sell your data. AI output can be wrong. Check anything important against the original post. Details are in the Syftr Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit private, login-walled, or non-public links you are not allowed to access, or try to use Syftr to pull content you should not have
• Abuse ingest: flood the pipeline, automate bulk saves to overload the service, evade rate limits or the free analysis limit, or probe the API
• Use Syftr for anything unlawful, including copyright abuse or harassment
• Use sharing to send unwanted content to other people
• Interfere with other users, our servers, or the Apple or Google sign-in flows
• Resell the service or run it as a public scraping product

We may pause or close an account that breaks these rules.

Third parties

Syftr depends on other companies to run: Apple (sign-in and App Store purchases), Google (sign-in, Gemini, and Places), OpenAI and Anthropic (transcription and analysis), Apify and ScrapeCreators (fetching public posts), RevenueCat (subscriptions), Resend (sign-in emails), and our hosting providers. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to what they do. Who gets what, and why, is listed in the Syftr Privacy Policy. We are not those companies. If one of them is down, parts of Syftr will not work.

Availability

We run Syftr on a best-effort basis. The app, the API, or extraction can be slow, incomplete, or unavailable. Supported platforms and features can change. We do not promise uptime, turnaround time, or that a given link will always save.

Liability

Syftr is provided as-is. Extraction can miss audio, misread text, or structure a note the wrong way. We do not guarantee business or personal outcomes from using the library.

To the maximum extent Florida law allows, ZAKOVAI LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the original posts, third-party outages, or what you do with saved notes. If we are liable anyway, that amount is limited to what you paid for Syftr+ in the three months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits. In those places, they apply only as far as the law allows.

Termination

You can stop using Syftr at any time and delete your account. We can suspend or close an account for acceptable-use violations, to protect the service, or if we shut Syftr down. If we close the product, we will try to give notice in the app or by email.

Changes

We will update the “Last updated” date on this page. For material changes, we will also describe them in the app or by email. Continued use after the date means you accept the update, except where the law requires opt-in.

Florida law

Florida law governs these terms, except where a mandatory consumer statute in your place of residence says otherwise. These terms are for the Syftr iOS app. They are not the Zakov AI website terms.
